Ipperwash Beach on Lake Huron is just a 2 minute drive or short walk from WoodHaven. Grand Bend Beach is a 15 minute drive. Grand Bend is also known for one of the largest Flea Markets around.  35 minute drive to the U.S. border at Sarnia/Port Huron.

At WoodHaven we are committed to the safety and security of all our guests, visitors and staff. We understand that vacationing should be fun and carefree, but we ask everyone to follow a few basic rules of courtesy and good judgment to ensure everyone has a memorable stay.

Condensed Rules

• Speed limit within park – 10 km/h everywhere
• Maximum 2 cars per site and must be parked off the road
• 11 pm to 9 am is QUIET TIME
• Fires to be attended at ALL times and MUST be put out before going to bed
• Parents are responsible to ensure their children wear helmets when biking in the park
• Children under 12 MUST be supervised at all times
• Children under 13 MUST be accompanied by someone 16 years or older in pool
• No pets at the pool or playground
• All pets must be leashed at all times

Thank you for your interest in becoming a seasonal site occupant at WoodHaven. We are currently full for the 2022 camping season. However, if you are interested in being added to our waitlist for the 2023 Season, please contact us by email with your full contact information along with the year and length of your trailer. Should a site become available this season we will contact individuals by date of receiving the request to be added to the wait list. Our waiting list will remain active for the 2023 season.

Our little gem of a resort is located just a 2 minute drive from beautiful sandy Ipperwash Beach located on the shores of Lake Huron.  We are 20 Minutes to the beautiful beaches of Grand Bend; 15 minutes to the Grand Bend Flea Market, 35 minutes to the Blue Water Bridge to the U.S; close to fishing, swimming, boating, numerous golf courses and wineries, an herb farm, Twin Pines Orchard, and many other tourist attractions.  If you enjoy hiking, there are a number of hiking trails in the neighborhood or within a short drive.
